Information for Re-enactors

Registration forms are for individuals. Please clearly complete one form for each participant and be sure to include the number of family members accompanying you. Merchants should fill out a separate merchant registration form, which may be obtained by contacting the Museum.

Information About the Re-enactment

The registration deadline is MAY 3, 2010.

IMPORTANT: It is very important that you report to the registration desk near the park entrance to confirm your attendance and to pick up the meal tickets for you and your family.

History in Action Day:
Friday, June 4, 2010 (9:30 am - 2:20 pm)

A day of education and fun for several hundred school children. Lunch will be provided to those re-enactors who participate. Please indicate on the registration form if you could contribute to this event by sharing your knowledge about a certain aspect of 19th century history with the students. If you will be on-site on Friday, in order to ensure the best possible experience for the students, we would welcome your participation by providing demonstrations.

The Weekend

The following will be provided for the weekend:

  • Ticket for one meal during the weekend, for those who have pre-registered.
  • Breakfast Saturday and Sunday morning, for those who have pre-registered.
  • Firewood, fire pit trays, water connections and straw on site.
  • Overnight security.

Modern Camping

There is limited modern tent camping on site. Inquiries about RV parking should be addressed to the curator.

Parking

Off-site parking is located one block east at Community Park and nearby at Green Acres School. Special provisions or handicapped parking should be addressed to the curator.

Plan Ahead for the Bicentennial in 2013!

Every year a Military Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek is held in June. Plan ahead by reviewing our list of future dates for the re-enactment, including the bicentennial celebration in 2013.
